A pretty gripping read but you definitely need to read the series in order to make sense of all that is going on and who the characters all are.I do find the fixation of the main female for the main male incredibly disturbing and the fact her parents have not had her incredible power trained for so long very annoying. There were fewer instances of weird times in this book which is all to the good.

Michelle Ericjson is my new favorite author. I couldn't put this book down. I'm so happy there are more... I live the characters.. She keeps you interested and makes the story really come alive.

Another great book of adventure and pain as the future is becoming increasingly difficult. The secrets are being told and the training has begun. Understanding the danger and evil they must fight.
